B.S.W. and DONA Trained Birth and Postpartum Doula
I began formally training as a doula with DONA International in the spring of 2009 after completing my bachelor's degree in Social Work at Thompson Rivers University. I grew up in a family very conscious of natural childbirth and breastfeeding, and was always the first on the scene to help whenever a baby was present. I have now worked with children and families in various capacities for more than ten years. I am very organized, detail oriented, prepared, patient, and empathetic. I am genuinely invested in the support of mothers and families during this critical time of transition in their lives as they welcome new members to their families. It would be my pleasure and honour to meet with you to discuss how I can support you during this precious time.As both a Birth and Postpartum Doula, I am available to provide support throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and postpartum (aka your newly invented or reinvented life with baby/babies).
